Here's something about them: " I remember the first time I saw one - came crawling out of one of the bunkers, barely able to stand. I thought it was one of us, another broken survivor of the Day, probably gone crazy from being down underground alone; even when I saw its claws in the half-light, I still didn't realize that it wasn't human. Figured the guy had had an accident. That's when it looked at me. Beady inhuman eyes. That skin, like something drowned. The stare, pulling me in... I must have emptied five full rounds into it before it was dead."
