Just as in Deus Ex 1, this is really where the meat is. I found that the feel of the game is similar to the first game but not identical. To say that DX:IW isn’t a direct sequel to Deus Ex 1 isn’t a stretch. Ion Storm decided to pull back on the micromanagement a bit and let the player just play the game. I, for one, am grateful for this. It was the micromanagement of the first game that really turned me off and in DX:IW I found I can relax a little more and just do my thing.
