GameSpy's 25 Most Memorable

GameSpy has kicked up a feature series titled GameSpy's 25 Most Memorable Games of the Past 5 Years, picking the staff's favourites since the site opened in 1999. RPGs are a little sparse in this first batch but Deus Ex gets a mention at #15 and KotOR at #21:
Ryan: One year I decided to bring KOTOR to a family reunion to powerhouse through it during my week away from work. I, of course, was hooked immediately and found it difficult to break away from the old, 19" TV I was playing on at the hotel. "Just a few more missions," I constantly thought. At times, relatives would attempt to join me, but find themselves bored by the chunks of narrative they were seeing out of context. I was often made fun of for my addiction to a Star Wars brand game, of all things. And yet, at some point (seven days and 50 hours later), it was over. What a long way I had come. And to keep those relatives from getting too mad, I would often claim that I was playing for work reasons. Yeah, right!
One year?
