Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has been reviewed at Pregaming. It's a very complimentary article with a final score of 9/10:
KOTOR brings so much to the table and delivers to the full amount, allowing for great gameplay, unbelievable graphics, excellent story, and magnificent sound, making it sad when you finish the game. However, luckily for the moral alignment system, replay value is exceedingly high. And with 40-60 hours of gameplay ahead of you, you'd never get bored. And if you do, KOTOR even has sidequests and mini-games. For instance, there is swoop bike racing, the card game pazaak, turret fighting, bounty hunting, arena fighting, it's all there! And to top it all off, later this year you will be able to new content through X-Box Live. There aren't many games out there that hardly ever keep you so occupied, but Bioware has created this phenominal game that will forever be remembered in the history of this industry. Knights of the Old Republic is, undeniably one of the best games that X-Box has to offer, as well as one of the best games in it's genre, and 250,000 copies in four days proves this. Friends... Knights of the Old Republic has unquestionably raised the bar, and has paved a new way into the future for RPGs to follow. Now young padawan, whatever path you choose is up to you, but destiny plays many tricks on those unprepared. You say you aren't scared? You will be... You will be.
