It's been a long while since anyone called Myst "cool," and it's unlikely that Myst V: End of Ages will do much to change that. It's not filled with guns or speeding cars or hot babes or things blowing up -- like its predecessors, it appears to be a quiet adventure of mystery, exploration, experimentation and discovery. Fortunately for Myst fans, it also appears to have everything we've liked from the previous games, along some cool new twists and a story that should keep things interesting right up to the conclusion. We'll see how the book closes on the series when Myst V: End of Ages ships at the end of September.
