Their overall score is 7.4/10, and their summary states that it's a nice game, but has some shortcomings: Overall, Might and Magic IX is a very nice RPG with some glaring graphical and audio shortcomings. It is now 2002 and the console gaming world is in its 2nd+ year of its latest generation of machines. By this point PC games should have surpassed the 3 console's limitations. PCs nowadays are far more powerful than any Xbox, PS2 or GameCube, and yet MMIX looks like it wouldn't even belong on one of these consoles.
