At a personal demo of NCSoft's showcase games, we at Warcry had the opportunity to engage the developers in Q&A as well as view the most recent incarnation of the sci-fi Tabula Rasa game engine. Fully expecting a mainstream, cookie-cutter duplication of the industry's earlier successes, we entered the plasma-screened demo room with curbed enthusiasm; but, try as we might, we simply could not keep the smiles and girlish giggling at bay.
