No numerical rating given, but you can see from the conclusion that the reviewer liked it (apart from the usual complaints about the controls): There is a strong community and fan base for Gothic. Some of the fans will say it is one of the best RPGs at this time. Gothic is a good solid game. It is not to be compared with Morrowind or any other games like that. Gothic is original and compelling. Once you get used to the lousy control system, you will find yourself immersed in the story. It may not have hundred of replay options, but it does have enough for those who don’t have hundred of hours
