GameSpy's Alex Tsotsos unveils his own review of Atlantus: Evolution - he awards it a 2.5 stars out of 5 for the overall grade...
There's hardly a bit of written text in the game. In fact, the opening menu system is a conglomeration of abstract shapes and characters, serving to heighten the immersion into a foreign culture and, I imagine, helping with that international distribution. Almost all the information you'll get about New Atlantis comes from spoken dialogue with the myriad characters in the game and comments from Hewitt as he describes his surroundings. The music production is mostly excellent, giving scenes emotional context while not distracting you from the game.
