Baldur's Gate 2 - Shadows of Amn: 10/10 points |
i love this game. anyone that dissagrees is a moron. The guys at black isle planned this series out so well its amazing. Its an amazing story. Yes at times you do some pointless dungeon hack bullshit, but oh who cares, theres always a reward at the end. The voice acting is amazing. The items are insane, the NPCs kick ass (esspecially Jan, Edwin, funny wise) and the romances are a nice bonus. The story is epic ,not torment epic but hey id give torment a rating of 8000000. The ending is kinda disapointing, but still cool, and plus ToB is the real end. READ MY TROMENT REVIEW..ITS THE REALLY LONG ONE |

FUCK ALL YOU....CLIFF...FUCK YOU....everyone that didnt like the wrap up of the greatest trilogy in gaming history...FUCK YOU...Granted it is simpler but who her fuck cares at the end your a FUCKING GOD. VOce acting is still sweet....NOTHING DIFFRENT FROM SoA. NOT AS GOOD...BUT STILL DESERVES AT LEAST A NINE!!!! THIS IS A SWEET GAME ...ESSPECIALLY FOR AN EXPANTION, FUCK ALL U CUMM DUMPSTERS WHO RATED UNDER 8 |
Fallout - A Post Nuclear Adventure: 9/10 points |
Trully great. Fallout is a god damn masterpeice. I hate linear and thats one thing it isnt. The only reason i dint give it a 10 was the bugs. Lots of bugs, graphical gliches on good vid cards even. But otherwise the game is great, the story is great and the gameplay is sweet. Graphix are chalanged but hey ....it was '96....either way who cares. read my torment review...THE LONG ONE |

If theres any reason to hate this game....im yet to hear it. Its simply amazing. It is the TRUE RPG it doesnt get anyless linear that fallout 2. Ive prolly played through it 5 or 6 times. And each time i notice something diffrent. Theres so much to do its insane. The graphix are dated, but oh well, the dialouge is realistic and well a lot of times vulgar. AND VULGAR IS GOOD. I esspecially like getting laid in the game. I mean c mon nailing Bishops wife AND daughter, gotta give it up to the developers for that one. I love this game its got that i dont give a fuck attitude that every good post apocoliptic RPG should have. READ MY TORMENT REVIEW....its the long one |

Were the five years worth the wait? I defenately don't think so. I was so exited too, but unfortunatelythe game is shallow. The 3rd edition rules are implement decently well, but so what. The main game is what im rating, its useless to rate in online too many possibilities, but the main story is horrid. The voice acting is rediculous compared to BG and Icewind Dale. The "henchmen" idea is retarded what happened to good NPCs? The radial system was attrocious and the camera handled like shit. The game was linear and felt more like Diablo then an RPG. Either way the biggest dissapointment, since the OJ case. |
Planescape: Torment: 10/10 points |
This is definately my favorite RPG ever, hell my favorite game EVER!! Im a harsh RPG judge, in fact, 95% of games i play that are conisdered RPGs
I call walkthroughs (every single final fantacy and diablo and even icewind dale). I enjoy those games somewhat but they dont have the story or the decision making that keeps me glued to to the monitor. Planescape: TORMENT definately does. I rather not even call it a game, i consider it an experience. Its is that epic. I love the story, i love the game play, i love the dialogue, i love the sinister inviorment of sigiL, I love the character building, name it , i love it! The story could be made into a better than great movie (8 hrs long.....) but id watch it! The story is that good. I've played through the baldurs gate series 3 times now. It has a lot of great problem solving and a damn epic story, its amazing, but compared to TORMENT, it's well...final fantasy 8. TORMENT does take patience though. Only true RPGers should take this journey. And if dont like to read...I whouldnt suggest attemping it (the written dialogue whould cause your fragile little head to implode). Also a knowladge of DnD rules is a plus but in TORMENT DnD rules are simplyfied to not take away from the story so youll learn. If you simply love RPGs (not final fantacy since its all horse shit badly translated walk through crap!)buy this game. OR burn it! Black Isle doesnt seem to want to put protections on ANY of their games, including new ones, they are trully for gamers by gamers. I myself support the small company though, and i suggest that. In closing, if you like the FALLOUT series, baldurs gates, and any other true RPG, get TORMENT its god af all! |
