Someone once described the popularity of the novel as such, “the English-speaking world is divided into those who have read The Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit and those who are going to read them.” Alas, the gaming world today is not divided into those who have played the Lord of the Rings: War of the Ring and those who are going to. I do not suppose it will ever be, at least not in the near future. Even though comments like these are not common in the gaming world, it is by no means a negative indication of its potential.
