RPG Vault talks with NetDevil's Senior Game Designer Paul Dennen and company President Scott Martins about Auto Assault and the extension of the MMO into the trading card game market.
Jonric: What kind of online world is Auto Assault, and what made it suitable as the basis for a trading card game? What were the keys to giving your product the same kind of "feel"?

Paul Dennen: Auto Assault depicts a brutal future where many factions duke it in tricked-out vehicles. Take some cars with flamethrowers, trucks with mass drivers, and then toss in some weird alien technology, and you end up with this extremely destructive, wickedly fast-paced game. It's great for a TCG because of the various and distinct factions and classes with skills, vehicles, and gear that can be translated into cards.
