Arx is a big game with tons of room to explore. And once you've gone through the caverns, you can sometimes go back and try to solve the puzzles you bypassed before (just what is behind that door). Plus, with character development such an issue, you've got the opportunity to play through leading your character in whole new development directions. Combine that with some beautiful graphics and well-crafted sound and you've got a game to keep on the hard drive for quite a while.

Arx Fatalis is a great addition to any role player's arsenal of games. Don't let it get overshadowed by Neverwinter Nights or Morrowind.
