Eve Online: IBM Releases CCP Case Study

IBM has released a case study on the use of its eServer, xSeries, and IBM eServer BladeCenter technology in powering the CCP Games title, Eve Online. Although it reads like a marketing brochure (thank you Terra Nova), it is an interesting insight into what goes on behind the scenes.
CCP have implemented a stable, high-availability solution based on IBM eServer xSeries and IBM eServer BladeCenter that provides a scalable environment to meet its expanding requirements; offering the ability to enhance revenues, reduce costs, optimize the architecture for the future, and improve service for game player
