While the ten new levels add more to the gaming experience by allowing characters to become ever more powerful, it's the Class Masteries that deliver a much needed depth to the character development. Each new skill must be earned and many of these new spells affect whole groups, allowing players to enhance everyone's ability at once to become more powerful. It is possible to drastically raise the hit points and Armor Class (AC) for yourself or everyone around you. With some spells that are also offensive spells, there are now more options for spells to be used in battle and the typical bashing action can be mixed up a little more.
