Gamespy has reviewed Anarchy Online. While you would expect a low rating (there are still so many complaints that the game is nearly unplayable), they actually rated it 79%. This is their conclusion:

In terms of gameplay and setting, Anarchy Online definitely has great stuff to offer the MMORPG fan. The technical issues can be annoying and sometimes extremely frustrating -- if you plan to play the game now, be prepared for some extensive patching and, even after that, potentially frustrating problems that could make you wonder why you're paying $13 a month. But MMORPGs are unique in that they are designed to evolve and this must be taken into consideration, and while these problems are certainly a poor reflection on a game's release, they will likely be fixed. Anarchy Online is a promising game with some big technical flaws, but in a few week's time it's sure to replace your EverQuest addiction.

Now, could someone actually PLAYING this game (I don't) tell us how the current state of the MMORPG is? Is this rating fair? Or is it way too high? Let us know.
