The game itself is brilliant! Anarchy Online is elegant and innovative, both in design and gameplay, and includes such inventive and captivating elements as user-created missions, a random mission generator, item references for easy transactions, character customability out the wazoo, enough emotes to choke Mike Morrissey, land and air based vehicles, a cyberspace grid for easy travel, cybernetic implants -- the list goes on and on. And all of this is set against a convincing sci-fi backdrop with a compelling backstory. The only problem is, it works so poorly now, it's hard to see the big, bright sun through all the dark clouds.
