NL Gaming dishes out a lower score to 'Heretic Kingdoms: The Inquistion' than other recent articles, with their review coming in at 60%:
So what do you do in the game? Well you spend most of your time walking around and either talking to people or slaying enemies, so lets break down each a little. Movement is painfully slow, I can’t seem to be able to get the main character to run, so I must trudge along at a slow pace trying to get to the next battle or the next person to socialize with. Let us now move on to the socializing aspect of the game, after all, story is one of the corner stones of any RPG. The dialogs give you limited options and often seem to drag on for no apparent reason; basically I have nothing good to say about the dialog. So let’s move on to the combat in the game, guess what, I have nothing good to say here either. The controls are easy to control, right click to attack, the only problem is that it is hard to pick which enemy to attack, as there are often trees in the way. Combat is normally small groups of enemies or simply just one on one with little variation, leading to a very mundane experience.
