Computer Games Online has posted a very long review of Zuxxez' Knightshift, coming to a very positive overall rating with 86%:
The camera may be locked or free and the perspective can be rotated or zoomed. The minimap seemed very small for the amount of signs it had to show so you shouldn’t look there because it's useless. There are two kinds of interfaces and music corresponding to the RTS and RPG modes. They both change depending on the mode you play but you can choose only one if you want to. The graphics is better than I expected and even if it's not Warcraft 3 you'll still need DX8 or 9 compatible cards for the reflective water, animated trees and clouds shadows effects. I tried to play it though on a Duron at 800 MHz with 256MB and a GeForce 2 (the test system was a P4 2.4GHz/512MB/Radeon 9700) and it scales beautifully as in the 1024*768 resolution with minimal details there were no slowdowns. There is a benchmark also but on the test system it kept telling me 24FPS with or without AA and AF from the drivers (there were visual changes so these settings worked with the game) while on the Duron system I obtained the magnificent result of -1FPS (yes, you're not tired, you're seeing a minus in front of one). Maybe a patch could correct this problem also as it would have been nice for the benchmark to reflect the real performance of the system with this game installed. Some dialogues were heard from the central speaker so I guess the EAX worked (you must have an EAX compatible soundcard for that) but there is no option to activate or deactivate it.
