Also over on the Adventure Gamers website, Jon Kristinsson brings us the Adventure Company's announcement of their first Agatha Christie title for the PC, "And Then There Were None"...
The Adventure Company announced today that they've signed up AWE Games to do the first in a series of Agatha Christie adventures. TAC had already announced that they'd gotten the green light from Christie's grandson, Mathew Prichard, to make a series based off her mystery novels. The one to kick off the series will be And Then There Were None.
The original story tells of ten people on an invitation to a lonely mansion on a deserted island. One by one, everyone is killed and thus begins the mystery. The adventure game will bring one twist to the story, however. The player enters into the setting as the man bringing everyone to this awful mansion, who also finds himself trapped on the island. You, of course, end up trying to save everyone, including yourself, by uncovering the identity of the murderer.
While AWE Games don't have a lot of previous experience with adventure games, fear not. Famous adventure designer Lee Sheldon, famous for titles like Dark Side of the Moon and Riddle of Master Lu, will be lead designer on this project. |
