The reviewer only offered it 2/5 stars and this conclusion: Unfortunately, Legends of Might and Magic feels like an opportunity missed. Although it can be quite fun to play, that's largely due to the elements borrowed from other titles, whilst most of the choices made to give the game its own identity have tended to be bad ones. There's some of the frantic fun of the Quake titles, and a smidgen of the strategy that makes Counterstrike so engaging, but not enough of either to make it a title that most players should be willing to spend their time or money on.
