Arx fatalis dedicated site Stygian Abyss has posted their very nice review of Arkane's dungeon crawl. The reviewer gives no numerical rating, but this opinion of the game is extremely positive, as you see from this paragraph:
This is a game of possibilities. I finished it, but I am sure I could still spend hours running around in the dungeon finishing various side quests, experimenting with spells, doing the save-game-be-evil-then-load-game shuffle (we all do that, don't we?). The game has tons of options. My brother and I played the game simultaneously, and many of our experiences were remarkably different. They would have been even more different if we hadn't been comparing notes, and trying things the other had tried that we didn't think of.

So, fans of Underworld, Thief, System Shock, or Deus Ex - go get Arx. It's right up your ally.
