Recent investigations into widespread cheating on Knight Online appear to be complete, and many players who had their accounts locked during this period are gradually getting control of them again (scroll down). Also, the Knight Online staff are stiffening their policies against players who exploit bugs or use third-party hack programs; anyone found doing these things will be immediately banned, and their accounts will be deleted.
LOCKED ACCOUNTS REMOVAL PROCESS - 11/7/2005
Those of you who have had locked accounts, item trading will be allowed starting tonight. Your account will be unlocked except for gold bars. Over the next few days we will gradually unlock the gold bars if we determine there is no cheating. Furthermore, no more gold bars will be allowed to trade, etc. with NPCs. Thank you and we apologize for holding the accounts, but we had to investigate such matters.
GAME CHANGES - BANNED CHARACTERS - 11/7/2005
We will begin more active bans. Also those characters who are banned and we find have some how cheated further in the game WILL HAVE THEIR ACCOUNTS PERMANENTLY DELETED. They will be deleted without any exceptions. Thank you. Also we are beginning more active bans on KOSP and KOXP cheats and will be enforcing them with more diligence.
