Sony Online Entertainment Inc. ( SOE), a worldwide leader in massively multiplayer online (MMO) gaming, today announced that The Bloodline Chronicles, the first Adventure Pack for the hit online fantasy game EverQuest II, is now available. The Bloodline Chronicles gives players hours of new content in a rich, story-based realm located beneath the surface of Norrath. The Bloodline Chronicles is currently only available via digital download for US $4.99, and requires a current subscription to EverQuest II to play.

“The Bloodline Chronicles represents a new model for both the business and development sides of our company,” says Laura Naviaux, brand manager, Sony Online Entertainment. “The idea is that we will create two to four Adventure Packs a year that we will offer as optional, low-price content for our players. The $4.99 price is a great deal for EverQuest II players.”
