The official Sigil Games Online site has an interview with Lead Artist, David Gilbertson. Here's a clip:
One of the things that always made EQ people feel real is the breathing and moving the avatar is always doing, when you stand still your not static. Do you have plans to push that further in your art direction, to make models feel more alive?

Of course. I also would like to see the players affected by the environments. Battle wounds, etc. Keith and I are pushing to get as much realism into the game as we can to bring it to life.
