Heroes of Might and Magic V, according to Ubi, will be to the previous games what Sands of Time was to earlier Prince of Persia games. From what we’ve seen of it, we wouldn’t go quite that far – Heroes of Might and Magic IV isn’t that old, after all. But it’s also pretty clear that with the leap to 3D under the guidance of a new developer, there have been a lot of fundamental changes to the series – and yet it remains very much recognisable.
