GameSpy posted two parts of a developer diary about EA Games/Stormfront Studios Action Adventure Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers for PS/2. Part 1 is written by Robert Clarke, lead artist of Stormfront Studios and part 2 by Jerry Darcy, one of the level designers.

These are two short snips:

Robert Clarke: In the end, we are all very proud of the quality and consistency of our art work. I feel like we met and exceeded our goals to deliver a lush, seemingly alive world, and this could not have happened had we not had such a talented bunch or artists, designers, and programmers.

Jerry Darcy: The combats had to feel real, instead of contrived occurrences. Why were the orcs ambushing you? What were they protecting? We created a quick storyline that branched off of the main story of the movie. Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli, having tracked the hobbits to Fangorn, decide to split up to cover more ground, and come upon a group of Saruman's orcs cutting down Fangorn's trees.
