HomeLAN has posted an interview with Yasu Kurosawa, US Online Producer of Square Enix USA, to find out more about his company's upcoming 'Final Fantasy XI' which has been a major success on the PC in Japan and the US up to now.
HomeLAN - First, can you give us an update on the PC launch of Final Fantasy XI in the USA? How many US players are on the servers and are you pleased with the number of players and the stability of the game itself so far?

Yasu Kurosawa - Since the launch of Final Fantasy XI for Windows in late October, the game has been doing very well. Over the holidays, with the addition of the players from the states, the total number of active characters in the world of Vana’diel reached nearly one million characters and the total number of PlayOnline users topped 500,000, both Japan and North America combined.
