Here's one of the questions asked by fans and Robert's answer: WarCraftIII.Net: The Abomination was recently "demoted" from hero to regular unit. Will he have any special skills or abilities or were his hero-based skills or abilities transferred to another unit or units? Rob Pardo: Hero-based spells are generally far too powerful to place on a unit, so he lost them. We're still discussing his exact powers, but he'll be created by merging several Ghouls together. He'll also share the Cannibalize ability with the Ghoul so that he can regain hit points after battles.
