VideoGamesLife has posted a preview of 'Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth':
HP Lovecraft wrote that the oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and that the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown. Crucial to this is the old adage that what we don’t see scares us more than what we do. Unfortunately, we know much concerning the Lovecraft-inspired Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. And yet we still fully expect it to scare the shit out of us. Call of Cthulhu has been in development for the last three years over at Headfirst Productions, and for those past three years VGL has been waiting impatiently. When the first batch of screenshots were released and promptly accrued, we found ourselves more than excited at the prospect of being able to take part in an interactive experience based on the Cthulhu Mythos – Lovecraft’s most well-known and loved collection of stories.
