There is a new preview of Disciples 2 - Dark Prophecy at GamersPulse. Here's a bit:
As you travel through the lands of Disciples II, you will find yourself confronting plenty of stores that you can buy spells and items from. If you are far from any cities under you control this is a good place to go and get reviving and healing items. The costs will vary from store to store, as will the items. Another importance of Disciples II is capturing other cities. As you progress through the quests, you will come upon cities all over the place that you can attack and take over. When you go into the city screen you can revive or heal any units that need it. Each city will have a maximum amount of units that can be in it at a certain time but, for a price, you can upgrade the city to allow more units to guard it. It costs more as you upgrade the city each time, but if it is a vital city to your strategy, it is worth it. As you complete each quest, a screen will pop up that will give you the option to pick one leader and five items to take along with you to the next quest in the campaign. It is a very important feature, because if you had to buy new leaders and level them up every time, it would take forever to get them up to the standards of the leaders before them. It is vital to your quests, so choose the leader and items that will help you the most in the future. |
