...Bronthion in our ranks :) . He has just posted his first newsbit and you will mostly see news from him at this time of the day.
Arhu and I know Bronthion from Larian Studios' Divine Divinity forums. Just like in Arhu's case (story), Larian realized quickly that Bronthion was not an average "forum dude". That's why they hired him to script quests for Divinity. Bronthion has been working full time at Larian Studios for an extended period of time and he even was part of our "Below 10 - Developer Profile" series earlier this year (story).
Make no mistake. Bronthion knows his RPGs. He is an AD&D expert and has been thoroughly enjoying all of BioWare's/Black Isle's/Interplay's Infinity engine games (Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment etc.). He is currently hooked up to Neverwinter Nights and plays it in LAN sessions with a friend on weekends.
Bronthion also used to run a German fansite for Divinity at www.divinityswelt.de. The site has not been updated since Bronthion left for his assignment at Larian Studios but there is a slight chance that 'Divinity's Welt' is going to celebrate a relaunch some time later this year.
We're very happy to have someone as talented as Bronthion aboard. He's just amazing. It sometimes seems like magic. He can chat, mail back, finish Baldur's Gate II and update his website all at once. Incredible but true... |
