Evil Avatar has done a flash back review of Dues Ex. Two and a half years later (an eternity in computer and game years), how does the game measure up?

If you only played Deus Ex once, then put this on your list of games to play again. If you never played Deus Ex, and read this Re-View anyway, I promise the meat of the game is in the delivery not the surprises. Go play it! On the surface, Deus Ex strikes too close to home in its first act, but it is an excellent reminder that terms like terrorism and revolution are only a matter of perspective, and that a person’s worth is not based on arbitrary titles, but actions. Most importantly, Deus Ex is a well designed game, an example of delivery done right, and deserves a permanent life in any gamers collection.
The revist of Deus Ex obviously has a lot of spoilers in it... but if you're looking for an excuse to fire it up again or don't mind spoiler to make up your mind... go check it out.
