Extremely addicting. The lack of seemless zoom in/out and the ability to press a button to attack everything in the immediate vicinity are the drawbacks to gameplay.
Graphics-wise it is very nice, but still not top of the line.
So for those few reasons, I dubbed Sacred a 8/10 score for great fun, but not perfection in design.

Great game, exactly what I have been hoping for after being stuck playing Diablo II for so long. I play a Battle Mage, and let me tell ya some of the battle get damn intense. Im turning people to stone, using Ice Ring as a snare, nuking people, great fun. |

game looked and played well. but once u learned charm, u just froze ur foes, and hacked em. and geez, opponents just everywhere. i can understand that in the desert where the war is raging, but then u have to deal with relentless attacks from enemies that should run away from inferiority fear. opinions....like butt holes. they all stink. game left me shrugging. wheres arx2, hope they dont ruin it. |

Not bad but not the greatest of it's sort. Buggy, and it needs a better skill advancement system. Items need to be better balanced because right now, some of the mods just don't seem to make sense.
I don't know what some of you get off rating it low just because you like some other game. If you don't like this game because your preference is somethign else, then go play something else. |

Its a fun game I have played 16+ hours at level 23 with the mage and I have a level 10 meteor that does 400+ damage he is fun but weak... |

Sadly this game is unplayable without a cheat - otherwise it is an endless procession of dying. Way too hard to be playable. the horse is a waste of time as it dies as soon as you fight. The quests are repetitive and dull as is the combat. most of the time you are looking for a way to get to the main quest through at areas where monsters are too hard. The skill ups are boring and too few options so getting alevel is sad too. All in all it would have been OK if there had been level of difficuly options in it - some hardcore players might be able to handle the game, but not casual players. |

the main idea is - if you try to clone diablo2 - just clone it! dead world, stupid story, lame quests - really, it's nothing for action-rpg. no balance is a tombstone. |

Found myself playing this game for 12 hours straight first time i played it but now at level 30 something, I'm starting to get a bit bored.. Items always get just a tad bit better and i hate the fact that potions take so much of the inventory space.. I like the item system in diablo2 alot more.. buying your items is never cool.. I want the big dragon to drop them. |

Like Diablo series, it is fast action with light rpg elements.

It was fun, the whole hack and slash without thought gets a bit boring in the end though. And it is extremely buggy and for some reason it gets easier every time you start again (even using a new character) so you play once and the game becomes impossible to play when you reach level 10 or so, then you start again and you can't get past level 20, so you start again and so on... I played it for about 30 hours and gave up in the end but it wasn't bad and hopefully the gold release with the expansion will have sorted most of the niggles |

Great Game, best community in gaming! Unlike some who say it is too hard (lol) I have several hardcore characters in higher difficulties. A few bugs, but they all have them. Very playable, great people! |

Sacred is a wonderful game. It improves on many of the ideas of Diablo II, and brings in new elements as well. The only reason that I give Sacred a 9 is due to the fact that Ascaron is virulently opposed to mods of any kind. A few good mods could extend the already extensive replay value of this game. IMHO, Sacred and Sacred UW (the expansion) are better than Diablo II. |

With the beautiful graphics and addictive gameplay alone I could rate this a 10, but due to a few weird bugs remaining in the game (though most were fixed with the recent patches and expansion). Pretty average story-line, but the character classes, skills and the similarities to Diablo make this game very fun. |

There is always something to do in this game. If there is any flaw, it is in that the side quests can often overshadow the main quests and take a lot of time. The only other problem I've had with the game is that in the timed quests the game's idea of real time can be seconds rather than days. I had a three day time limit quest that I failed to succeed in after less than 3 minutes play. Another problem is the escort quests. The ones getting escorted often don't have enough sense to keep out of the way and end up getting killed quickly. Otherwise this is a very fascinating game. |
