I awoke suddenly in a volcano, or what I thought was a volcano. I was surrounded by lava beds, but solid ground lay beneath my feet. The sky was pitch black and I could hear thunder and lightning in the distance. I felt like I was in a dream. Or something very close to it. I remembered that something had happened to me, but I could not remember anything specific. I did know this: This land, this environment I was in was unfamiliar.
