While the campaigns in World War II Online are more or less equally matched during peak hours, the developers are reviewing their options for addressing imbalances between the Allied and Axis teams consistently throughout the day. This post describes the options they're considering and solicits comments from the players.
Let me start by clearing the air a bit. When we talk about addressing player imbalances we are not talking about forcing players to play one side or another. That is something that we will not do.

Player imbalance in a PvP game is an interesting problem to solve. We are unique in that our game has such a vast scope. Most FPS games work to keep players equal in the same way that sports have equal numbers of players on both sides. That model does not work for us quite as well but the goal is the same: keep the game fair by having the as close to the same number of players on the field for both sides.

When we say the same numbers, we do not mean a 1 for 1 accounting of players on each side nor do we mean keeping player numbers equal at the local objective level. More over we are looking to encourage player numbers being equal on a side versus side level.
