Gamers Europe have posted up a preview of Nevrax' fantasy MMORPG 'Ryzom'.

An excerpt:
This is a really big MMORJG; the scale of it is not to be underestimated. The Ryzom universe is as huge and dynamic as its peers of genre (I’m sure you can think of a few). Your main job is to guild your chosen guild to obtain and achieve said guilds destiny. If you do really well, you get your name engraved in the hall of fame, and you also get cool new artifacts. The clever thing about the game is that the hardcore players get to run it: the longer you play, the more involved you get, which makes you want to play more, which gets you even more involved in the games politics. This vicious circle is well implemented. As a result, Ryzom could easily mean curtains for your social life.

The gameplay is extremely immersive. You not only tend to your own characters development, but rather you help your guild and above that, your civilization toward their goal of obtaining and achieving your collective destiny. Your civilization gives your guild tasks to carry out and these tasks filter down to you in the form of the jobs I mentioned earlier. If you do well, your guild does well, your civilization does well and your tribal race as a whole does well.
