However, why not make a great looking game look awesome if it can be done? That's what 'Gothic II' community member Postal must have thought when he came up with the idea of an Enhanced Texture Pack for the game. This would definitely have to be an incredible amount of work since almost all textures would have to be exchanged for better quality ones. Postal not only accepted the challenge but actually managed to pull it off. We're very happy to be able to share the goodness today as we are hosting the one and only Enhanced Texture Pack By Postal for 'Gothic II' on our network site GothicDot (thanks Gorath!). Please follow the link for details and comparative screenshots and also make sure that you have 7-Zip or Winrar installed to be able to extract the downloadable archive (looks like WinAce and PKZIP might work, too, but there doesn't seem to be support for WinZip yet) .
