Welcome to Settlers of Ganareth - the prelude to the long awaited "largest MMORPG you have ever seen": Dark and Light.

Since the game itself is still in a beta-like state, it would be unfair to write a full review of all the existing and -more importantly- missing features.

Don't be too disappointed if you did not get one of the 8881 pre-orders or one of the 10,000 free SoG accounts, since at the current stage, the game is a stress test for the game's server cluster as well as the playerbase. Frequent client and server crashes as well as congested login servers have a negative impact on the gaming experience. We will have to see if the final game is stable by april 2006 with most of the promised features implemented, if the release date will be postponed again, or if we have to face another bug ridden and rushed release.
