An E3 summary at Filefront reveals a preview we overlooked in the fray. Here's a snip:
You start off your life as a child, and your parents have just been kidnapped. In order to ensure your safety, you are taken to the town’s Heroes Guild, and end up being taken in by them as their own. As awe one, the heroes in the guild you call your home teach you swordplay, archery, magic and the code you must follow as a hero. This kind of seems immoral; I mean, taking in a baby and teaching him sword play before the little guy even his puberty. That just seems like a baby that’s born for something big, you know? In fact, that’s the point of Lionhead’s Fable; which, incidentally, was nominated as “Best of E3” while we were all taking a look at it.
