Fable (Xbox): Review @ XPG Gaming

A near-perfect score of 9.8/10 is the conclusion at XPG Gaming after reviewing Fable:
What do you think of when you think of past Role-Playing Games (RPG’s)? Do you think of mana, spells, potions, turn-based fighting? You also probably think of such games as Final Fantasy (the good ones), Morrowind and Kingdom Hearts (oh, and hopefully not Shenmue). All of these games have a few things in common that have become kind of stereotypical in RPG’s, which each one tried to overcome but still had it’s shortcomings: Turn-based fighting, boring fighting, ugh…Sephiroth for each of these games respectively. Although each and every single one of these games had great potential (except for Shenmue), they never quite did it for RPG addicts like myself. They never quite made that same impact that Final Fantasy 7 made. Finally, after years of waiting, we Xbox-owing RPG addicts can now feel that same feeling again, with Fable.
