From time to time, we will remember those classic legends, that were milestones in our favourite genre, real classics, that changed the gaming world. Let's start today with Origin's Ultima 7. Both parts, The Black Gate, released in 1992 and Serpent Isle one year later are considered to be the best of the series by many players. Journey into the past and remember these classics in our classic review!
I guess a lot of young RPGamers, who know RPG since Diablo or Baldur’s Gate only, will not even know, what really is possible, when doing an RPG. Baldur’s Gate 2 for example may be one of the most complex RPG of the modern era of RPGs, but compared to Ultima 7 or Serpent Isle its world seems quite easy, very uncomplex and static presented.
