Internal Affairs: Looking back, looking forward

I just updated the donation status page for August and September. I will not talk about it a lot, but let the numbers speak for themselves...

August was a rather quiet month, but with three things standing out, IMHO: the release of Arcanum, the demise of SirTech and the release of the english Gothic demo. September started with a bang: World of Warcraft - and I am sure that we haven't seen all so far regarding surprises, good and bad ones. The rest of the year will be quite exciting: Which games will be released (do we really see Morrowind and Neverwinter Nights before christmas?), which sites will survive (it seems pretty obvious to me that Snowball, for example, will be delisted from NASDAQ - their share trade at .29$ - they were put on the market with 60$). What will Ian and Linda Currie do now, after they had left SirTech? Will the CRPG genre become more attractive to the general audience? Interesting times ahead, and we hope that we can be with you through them. So stay tuned as we bring you the news.
