Larry Probst is chairman and chief executive of Electronic Arts, the world's largest video game publisher, with such hit titles as Madden Football, Lord of the Rings and The Sims.
The Redwood City firm, which has 5,000 employees worldwide, last month reported that its fiscal 2004 profit rose to $577 million on $2.96 billion in sales.
