Cosmos Gaming's Chris Dahlberg describes his direct and decisive dissection in dealing with Telltale's delightful adventure, "Bone: Out From Boneville", for which Chris rates as an overall 7.5 out of 10 (and for which I have to disagree, as by my own mathematical calculations, the overall rating should be an 8 out of 10:-)...

Most of the puzzles are straightforward (there is a hide and seek game where the hidden possums will tell you if you are hot or cold), as well as a jumping puzzle. However, Bone includes a built in hint system. By pressing the question mark at the bottom right of the screen, the game will give you hints about the current situation, ensuring that a gamer will never get stuck.

Out from Boneville can be run through in around 3 or 4 hours depending on how long you take to complete certain game scenes, which is fairly short when compared to full length games. You may be thinking that $20 seems a bit much for only 3-4 hours of gameplay, but each and every minute of the game is enjoyable, and a good amount of the dialogue may make you laugh. While there may be some minor issues, it is not enough to ruin the game, and most players will be able to overlook them. Overall the game is fun for the whole family, and this is the start to a great series (although the action sequences could be toned down just a little bit).
