A review of Arx Fatalis can be found at The Wargamer. As usual, they did a good job (I think their reviews are amongst the best on the net) - and the outcome (no rating) is very positive:
I love this game. It's not a game that I play for a week straight, not a game that I can't get enough of in one sitting, but overall it's a well-crafted dungeon crawl featuring a high degree of immersion from the combination of great graphics, interesting plot, and fun exploration. Some people might find the traditional setting and accompanying standard creatures a bit bland, but I did not. I don't mind traditional when it's done this well. Despite the clunky interface, I can still wholeheartedly recommend Arx Fatalis to any lover of great RPGs. Arx Fatalis makes a fine addition to any role-playing library.
