The Man Room's Steve Tomassetti reveals his enthusiastic review of inXile's The Bard's Tale - for which Steve gives the Bard an 8.5 out of 10 overall "score"...

What sets The Bard's Tale apart from other tiles within the genre is its humor. The comedy is well written into the game and you'll laugh out loud very frequently like I did. Everything from characters' lines to appearances and almost every song are all worth a chuckle. There is a bit of risqué humor added as well, hence the T rating. Play your cards right and you can have the Bard "spending an evening" with a lady friend within the first ten minutes of gameplay.

All in all, The Bard's Tale is an extremely entertaining adventure game with plenty of humor, both slapstick and adult, to keep everyone of appropriate age to play it, busy for hours on end
