Update (07/05/2002): The review has been pulled by GGM. They have not given a reason for it but we assume that the reasons lie within the offensive nature of the review.

Gameguru Mania has tossed up a review of Neverwinter Nights. Jesus H Christ, it happened. Finally! This is the first ever bad review for BioWare's puppy :) .
There's unfortunately no score but sometimes words say more than a thousand numbers.
I don't want to be misunderstood. I'm not happy because NWN got raped by someone. I'm just happy that the NWN goodness boredom has been interrupted ;) .

Take that:
So what's with this game? It could be fun. It could be something. But.. the way it is, it's just another Diablo-like-clone, with better dialogues, more places to visit and more NPC's. Maybe that's RPG for you. Maybe that makes you happy.. Don't know. But I do know, that I expected something better, something good, and not so boring hack'em and slash'em game.. There's an "if".. If some scripts were rewritten.. if the main chapters weren't so "undergrounded".. and if making something on my own would be easier.. This could been something. Or, SOMETHING. But it's not. If I can suggest - Bioware, make a point&click application to do scripts. Ever seen RPGmaker2000? If doing scripts were possible by something like script wizard for dialogues.. but more powerful, with almost all the options that they are.. then people without programming skills could have make scripts for NPC's, items, effects and all this stuff. Make little chapters with a REAL scenario, few NPC's, few fights, but a real plot behind all this.. Also - remake henchmen, add possibility to buy and tame animals (I've wanted to have a dog by my side, but all I could do was tame it for a couple of seconds.. and that's all. shame..) , and do some real chapters.. Also, read some forums, people there have good ideas and had actually played your game.. Their posts might be interesting. And with all those infos and ideas.. you are "all set to go" and make Neverwinter 2, or 1.5, without having to change engine, graphics and music.
