Gamers Europe has posted a preview of Larian Studios' Divine Divinity, an isometric RPG in the tradition of Ultima 7, whjich should make it onto shelves in july:So many of the above points we’ve heard all too often, so what will set Divine Divinity apart from the rest? Well there are two main points, AI and atmosphere. The AI of the game boasts to be some of the most realistic AI in an RPG. Different monsters will behave in different ways, and the AI will constantly try and outsmart you. One such example of this is when there are 4 enemies guarding an entrance. One of the patrolling guards spots you and runs back to inform the others. Now instead of simply being alert to your presence and/or coming to attack you the enemies may actually lay a trap for you, make the entrance seem unguarded and as you approach surround you and attack from all side... |
