Ascaron Entertainment's action RPG Sacred looks to most definitely stand out from the crowd of RPGs in 2004. To be released on March 23 by North American publisher Encore Software, Sacred is the first RPG from Ascaron Entertainment who also developed Patrician and Port Royale. Based on a recent English demo of the game I am very confident in stating that Sacred should prove to be one of the highlights in RPG gaming this year. Some may think of this game as a simple clone to Diablo 2 and that would not be a fair and correct assessment as Sacred is one of the rare RPGs that actually goes beyond it to stand proudly as its own game with many notable and remarkable features! Several elements come together to make for a memorable and masterful experience in Sacred: stunning graphics, exciting gameplay and many special details that make this an unforgettable action RPG!
